Items available: vintage trunk, wood crate, lantern

Hello all!
A few new offerings!  Anyone else love vintage trunks?  I have a few favorites I have held onto that I have in my home, so this one is up for grabs!  I pulled a few things together that make me think of a little boy's room in this post, but each item could be fabulous on it's own.  For quite a while, I used two of these wood crates in my laundry room to separate darks and whites, or they can add a vintage vibe to the living room holding books, magazines, or blankets.  The red lantern is just in time to add to your porch or decor for 4th of July, unless you have a 'camp' themed room- then it should definitely go there!

Thanks for stopping by!!

Studio plans

Early one morning last week , I sat at the desk in my 'studio'.

My husband refers to it as the 'junk room'.
At times… I might have to agree with him!
(Tax season and Wildhare FleaMarket prep…sheesh!)

Although I really like to work in this room, lately, the time I've had to spend there has been limited.  So I soaked it up while I sipped coffee and worked on an article for Pocatello Magazine.

I'm lucky to be a soccer mom, so later in the week I did some editing in the truck while the dude that married the junky gal, drove : ).

I'm easily distracted by projects I have in mind, and while I worked on the article, I kept looking over at the bookshelf.
At has some great pieces, but obviously needs a little editing itself!

This bookshelf has been on the docket for white paint for quite some time, just other projects have come before it.
That was my next plan.
Until I found this…

It is a project too, needing some interior shelves, and perhaps white paint inside.  I'm still mulling that one over.

A keeper for sure!

Kitchen-Sunny Style!

Has anyone else received their latest issue of Country Style Magazine?
Mine came this past week in the mail.  It's always a treat, something I like to save until I have some time, and really savor and enjoy.

Aside from removing keys and sunglasses from the table, this is how our eat in area of the kitchen looked (and still does + said keys, etc) when my kiddo brought the mail, including Country Living Magazine, in from the mail box.

And I noticed some similar colors on the cover shot ...

Hey Country Living…
                                       I like your style!

Have a great sunny day!

Vintage Youngstown Sink!

Isn't she adorable?!

You can imagine the comments when I hauled home a kitchen sink… : )
But a vintage Youngstown sink and original metal stand had to be rescued.

Of course, it would be amazing refinished and set into a kitchen!
But imagine it out on a patio, planted with flowers...

Or used as a vintage inspired drink container at a wedding or party,
(How about renting it out for such a purpose?! - I'd be tempted to rent it back for parties!)

How about in the laundry room, either plumbed and used for soaking and rinsing, or using each sink for a 'hamper'.  Have a butcher block cut to size one sink and you'd have a spot to iron and fold!

This Younstown Vintage Sink is now sold!

Measures:  42inches wide, 24 inches deep, 40 inches tall at the back.
I found 2 posts of similar items on ebay at approximately 5 times this price. But I'm a gal in Idaho, who realizes the audience for such a piece is small, and I'd love to see it make it to a new home!!

Interested?  Call or text me at 20eight-39zero-8653 , we can arrange a time for a closer look!
Thanks!

STUFF ~ available!

I'm really not sure how to title this post.  So, STUFF, it is.
Granted, it's great STUFF,  but to the untrained, non-junk lover … it may appear to be junk.
I know, that you...know better.  I also realized that before the last flea market, I would feel that I needed more 'stuff' to write a blog post about and sell.  Granted at the flea market, I have multiple pieces of furniture, but many of you visit in hopes to find a unique item, a vintage find, or a re-graced piece!  Right?  So I'm planning more frequent posts.  Some with furniture pieces, and some without.  I'd love to hear your thoughts on this!

------------------------------------
I'm located in Chubbuck, Idaho and sell items on a local basis.  First to call/text is first served.  Sales tax is included in these prices.  For items less than $20, cash sales, please. Paypal and credit card are available for others.  208-39zero-8six53

-----------------------------------
 18 pane window- sold
Window found with this blue paint, just the wood frame, no glass. Use it in a teenager or boy's room, with sports awards, or ribbons. Or paint it white and clip on black and white photos, or a statement architectural piece!

Vintage 3 tiered metal tray $8
Great industrial piece!  Wouldn't it be fabulous on a vintage desk … I have one here : )!
It could even be hip in the pantry.  Those high shelves could corral granola bars and protein bars!

Blue metal basket $6
It's not a vintage piece, but great patina. And yeah, don't miss the hardware and detail on that window!

Vintage Bottle $4

Vintage Mop Handle  $16
Wood, vintage label, and rust - oh my stars!!!
Put it in the laundry room, propped, or hung horizontal.  It could be a great piece high on a kitchen wall  draped with a sweet vintage apron or two - oh the possibilities!

Thanks for visiting my junkin' friends!
