Pulled from the Pick-up | Lockers, chippy trellis & a vintage chair

Hi friends,
I couldn't help but have fun with a little photo shoot in the garage; a little sweet & a little sass, sums up my style perfectly!

Vintage Lockers ~ SOLD
set of 3

These were pulled from my dad's pick-up today.
Hence, he won the pickin' award for the week.
Yes, he is awesome!

The lockers have both the number tags, and a painted on number.
Personally, I love both.
My dad was kind enough to not only pick, load, and haul, but also take off most of the spiderwebs.  I did a second cleaning, removing stickers, more cobwebs, and weeds.  Needless to say, they could use a good scrub on the inside if you are planning to use them anywhere other than a garage.

Fabulous legs and handles!
These gals are sturdy and heavy.  Plan on at least 2 strong backs and a full size pick-up to get these home.
The set of 3 lockers measures 45in wide, 78in tall, 15in deep

Vintage Wood Box $18
Time worn lettering, great patina.  Measures 19.5 inches wide, 12.5 tall, 10.5 deep
Vintage Enamel Bowl $10
(pictured above or scroll my blog for a closer photo)

Vintage Chair- let me explain…

This gal has a current home in my studio, but I can see her being fabulous in photo shoots, as a sweet chair for the Bride or New Mom at a shower.  She is available to rent for your event, $12 for a 2 day/overnight rental.  You haul and return in the pretty condition she is in now.  Contact me if you're interested! (208-390-8653, livelygrace@me.com)

Large Vintage Ball Jar $8

Tall Chippy Wood Trellis $24
~sale pending~

Look close…. this trellis has some great patina!  Flip it horizontal and imagine a photo wall, a headboard, or along the wall in a little girl's room!  Cut it to size and hang above your washer and dryer with clothespins….split it with a friend : ).  I'm sure I've only scratched the surface with possibilities for this piece!

Here's how this works…

Maybe it's Ironstone?

I picked up this dainty little thing at a yard sale a few weeks back.

It has the look of  ironstone, but not any markings on the bottom.

I picked it up, with the intent that it would be a sweet piece in a little vignette in my next flea market booth (September, my friends, I'll keep you posted), or on the blog.  But then today, it became a great pen holder on the desk.
This happens a little more often than I should probably admit!

Americana Porch | 4th of July

I knew I liked the red lantern when I found it at a yard sale, but I don't have red accents in my house, so I listed it on my blog.
Then the 4th of July drew near, and that little lantern hadn't sold.
I'm not even a little bit sad about that.

I purchased these red chairs at a yard sale, last year, I think.  They were super dusty with spider webs and junk in the metal tube legs, but they are sturdy, and I could see the paint had some great chipping already happening.  I scrubbed them down, let the paint flake off where it was loose, and then sealed them with double coat of polyurethane to keep the paint that was there a little protected.

The vintage books and vintage wood stool are from my home;  both are also yard sale finds.

Both pillow covers are thrift store finds, and both were like new when I found them.  The galvanized tub is from an estate sale years ago, before my first booth at the flea market.
Did you see the sneak of the rug on my Facebook page?  My usual doormat wasn't fitting this scene with of it's brown and neutral.  Then I remembered I had purchased a couple handwoven vintage rag rugs from an estate sale this year.  I wasn't sure of my plans for them when I bought them, I just couldn't pass them up.  Who knew this one would be so perfect!?

More important than great thrifted finds however, is my grateful Thank You to all the men and women who have protected our USA, and their families.

Have a safe and happy 4th of July.
